Nicola and Yogesh are addressing local concerns at Torbridge Close, where they have organised the clearance of illegally dumped waste from the garage area. However, asbestos was discovered, requiring a separate team for removal. The Council has been removing fly-tipping quicker, with increased enforcement and higher fines. Additionally, Nicola and Yogesh have requested trees be planted on Methuen road and have secured the installation of CCTV cameras at Methuen Close to combat fly-tipping, following their successful campaigning. They have also supported the NCIL ward fund application for Flash Musicals to maintain their warm hub and lunch club, ensuring vital community services continue, another achievement resulting from years of persistent campaigning.
