Husain is married with five children – all born and schooled in Harrow. Now his four grandchildren are in the local schools. He is a retired Inspector of Schools for England. He has enjoyed serving as a Canons Ward councillor since 2007. He is a member of Canons Park Residents Association and actively supports its work. He enjoys photography and is committed to safeguarding Harrow's character. He has regularly visited, spoke at and photographed events held at the places of worship in Canons and beyond. Amir lives with his family in Stanmore. His background is in Law in which he has a great interest. He works for a software company as a Director of Project Management. Amir has experience of working with large organizations and in delivering major changes to customers. Two of the specific interests within community life are safe and clean streets as well as family activities and open spaces. Among his other interests are basketball, books and cooking. Richard has served continuously on Harrow Council for 28 years and has been privileged to represent Canons Ward. He has significant experience in assisting to resolve the problems of individual residents as well as the more formal requirements of committee work. Richard has lived in the Borough for all of his life with his family. He is an active member of his synagogue and enjoys all of the aspects of being part of a community.
